About Katie
Katie is a speech-language pathologist with 13+ years of experience working with children and their families. She received her Masters Degree from Texas Christian University in 2011. Since then, she has worked in pediatric home health, a hospital outpatient clinic, and a private practice clinic.
Katie has valuable experience working with multidisciplinary teams and believes a child will thrive best with collaborative support from caregivers, professionals, and teachers. She has advanced training in language delays in young children (Hanen), Childhood Apraxia of Speech (DTTC), and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (LAMP).
Katie’s approach is to provide therapy that is built on a caring and trusting relationship with the child that’s evidence based and FUN. Her goal is to provide each child the functional skills needed to interact and communicate with the world to their fullest ability.
